Over 20,200 prizes were given out through a raffle, including signature items like helmets adorned with VIETOON's logo, custom key holders, QR-coded bags, and free webtoon passes aimed at enhancing road safety for Vietnam’s large motorcyclist community. In addition, new members received a complimentary one-month pass to explore VIETOON’s extensive webtoon offerings, fully localized in Vietnamese. This event alone resulted in nearly 10,000 new subscribers, bringing VIETOON's total membership to an impressive 250,000.
Enhanced App and Promotional Campaign on the Horizon
To mark its upcoming app launch on Android and iOS, VIETOON has announced an exclusive promotion running from November 1 to December 31, 2024. During this period, subscribers who sign up for a one-year membership will receive an additional four months of access at no extra charge, for a total of 16 months of content. This limited-time offer is priced at 549,000 VND, with regular rates resuming after the promotional period ends.
The platform’s expanded mobile experience aims to provide seamless access to popular Korean webtoons, enabling Vietnamese audiences to enjoy a rich selection of translated works across multiple genres. Currently, VIETOON allows free viewing of up to three episodes from over 120 titles, with new episodes released weekly and at least five new series added monthly. VIETOON also plans to introduce original works by Vietnamese creators, further broadening the cultural connection between Korea and Vietnam.
Bringing K-Webtoons to Vietnam’s 90 Million
